1.1 Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, job title, and authentication credentials, which may be processed by our authentication service provider.

1.2 Payment Information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor; Plankore does not store full payment card numbers.

1.3 Content You Upload. This includes blueprints, drawings, project files, takeoff data, estimates, pricing information, labor and material costs, markups, notes, and any other materials you upload or create within the Service ("Customer Content"). Customer Content may contain personal information, confidential business information, project addresses, or other information belonging to you or third parties. You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and authority necessary to upload Customer Content and permit Plankore to use it as described in this Policy and the Terms of Service.

1.4 Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, such as log data, device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and feature usage, through cookies and similar technologies.

1.5 Communications. If you contact us for support or other inquiries, we collect the content of those communications.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including processing your blueprints and generating AI-powered takeoffs and estimates;
• Process payments and manage your subscription;
• Improve and develop the Service, including training, testing, evaluating, and improving our AI and machine learning models using Customer Content and information derived from Customer Content;
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
• Monitor for security, fraud, and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
• Comply with legal obligations.

Plankore may use Customer Content, including blueprints, drawings, project files, takeoff data, annotations, estimates, pricing information, labor and material costs, markups, and information derived from Customer Content to train, test, evaluate, and improve our artificial intelligence and machine learning models, algorithms, and features.

Customer Content used for these purposes may be retained after you close your account or request deletion. Deleting your account or Customer Content does not require Plankore to delete, retrain, modify, or reverse models, algorithms, evaluations, statistical information, or improvements previously developed using that Customer Content.

We take reasonable steps to limit access to Customer Content and protect its confidentiality.

Plankore may use pricing information contained in Customer Content, including bids, estimates, unit costs, and takeoff data, to improve pricing recommendations, cost models, estimates, benchmarking, and related features. Any benchmarking or shared insights will be based on aggregated or de-identified data and will not be presented in a manner that reasonably identifies a specific customer or project.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting providers and payment processors, under confidentiality obligations;
• Contractors and professional advisers who assist with data labeling, model development, evaluation, security, legal, accounting, or other business operations, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations;
• Other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Plankore, our users, or others;
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We retain account information and Customer Content for as long as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

If you close your account, we may delete Customer Content from the customer-facing Service after a reasonable retrieval period. However, Customer Content and information derived from it that has been used or retained for AI training, testing, evaluation, product improvement, security, backup, legal compliance, or other legitimate business purposes may be retained. Information incorporated into trained models, model parameters, or aggregated outputs may not be reasonably capable of being isolated or removed.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, or deletion. These rights are subject to applicable law and may not apply to information that is not personal information, information we are permitted or required to retain, or information that cannot reasonably be separated from trained models, aggregated data, or de-identified data.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Service functionality.

The Service is intended for business use by construction industry professionals and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
