Yes. Plankore Core is free — no credit card required.
The free plan includes 5 projects and plan uploads per month, area, linear, and count takeoff, Excel-style estimating and Excel export, and team collaboration with 3 editors and unlimited viewers.
We intend to keep Plankore Core free. If that ever changes, we'll provide at least 90 days' advance notice. You can also export your projects to Excel at any time, so your data is never locked in.
Plankore Core is manual: you measure, estimate, and export to Excel. Plankore Pro is in beta and adds automated wall, area, window, and door detection, sheet naming, scale detection, one-click AI Bid, and unlimited projects. Both let you trace every quantity back to the plan sheet.
No. Plankore Core is free to start with no payment details, no sales call, and no demo required. You can upload a plan set and run a takeoff the same day. Payment is only needed if you move to Plankore Pro.
Yes. Plankore runs in any modern browser on Mac, Windows, or Chromebook with nothing to install. Most established takeoff tools are Windows-only desktop software, so Mac users often have no option other than a virtual machine.
AI detection speeds up the first pass, but it isn't a replacement for estimator judgement. Plankore shows every AI-generated quantity alongside the source sheet, formula, and assumptions so you can verify or correct it before the number reaches your bid.
