Roles: owner, editor, viewer
What the project owner, editors and viewers can each do, how to accept an invitation, and what the invitation error messages mean.
Every project has one owner, the person who created it. Everyone else is invited as an editor (Can edit) or a viewer (View only). Your role is per project: you can own one project, edit another and only view a third.

Two things worth knowing:
- AI tools follow the person, not the project. An editor on Free Forever cannot run Smart Count on a project owned by a Pro user. See Plankore plans: Free Forever vs Pro.
- Viewers and editors do not need their own project allowance to open a shared project. It sits under Shared with me and does not count against their monthly projects.
What viewers see
Viewers get a View only badge in the workspace. The tools stay visible, but clicking one opens the dialog View-only access: You can view this project, but editing requires editor access from the project owner. Click Keep viewing to carry on. If you need to make changes, ask the owner to switch you to Can edit.
An editor who tries an owner-only action sees Owner access required: Only the project owner can manage this feature. You can keep viewing the shared project.

If you were already a member, the page says You already have access to this project. and offers Go to dashboard.
