Keyboard shortcuts
Every shortcut on the Plans & Takeoffs canvas, for tools, drawing, editing and moving around.

On Windows, use Ctrl wherever you see ⌘.
Tools
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| V | Move |
| P | Pan |
| A | Area |
| R | Rectangle |
| L | Linear |
| C | Count |
| M | Measure |
| ⌘F | Find text |
While drawing
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enter or double-click | Finish the shape |
| Backspace | Remove the last point, or the last count marker |
| Escape | Stop drawing and go back to Move. A complete shape is kept |
| Hold Shift | Keep the line horizontal or vertical |
| Hold Space | Pan without leaving the tool |
| A / R | Switch between Area and Rectangle |
Editing
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| N | New Section on the selected object |
| S | Subtract from the selected area |
| E | Smart Edit, while the right-click menu is open (Plankore Pro) |
| ⌘C / ⌘V | Copy / Paste as |
| ⌘Z | Undo |
| ⌘Y or ⌘⇧Z | Redo |
| Delete or Backspace | Delete the selected shapes |
| Arrow keys | Nudge the selected shapes. Hold Shift to move 10 times farther |
| Shift-click | Add a shape to the selection |
View and control bar

| Hold Z | Magnifier under your cursor |
| PageUp / PageDown | Previous / next page |
| O | Orthogonal on or off |
| H | Highlights on or off |
| F | Snap on or off (Plankore Pro) |
Zoom with your mouse wheel or a trackpad pinch. There are no keyboard shortcuts for zoom. See Navigate, zoom and pan.
